It seems that NBA commissioner Adam Silver is often talking about things from the league’s past that people miss and whether they will come back.
Lately, many fans have demanded that the courts during NBA Finals games showcase the Larry O’Brien Trophy, just like in decades past.
Speaking to Sam Amick, Silver addressed that situation and whether the NBA will ever bring the logo back.
“I’m nostalgic… it’s nice when you’re looking back on highlights and they stand out because you see that trophy logo or some other indication that it’s a special event. So, we’ll look at it,” said Silver, per Legion Hoops.
Adam Silver hints at the NBA Finals trophy logo making a return:

Thinking about it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen, so fans shouldn’t hold their breath for the return of this special court.
Obviously, nothing would happen this season since the Finals have already started, but it could be changed in the years ahead.
The NBA has made a lot of adjustments over the years, and some have been warmly welcomed while others have been dismissed right away.
Fans are very particular about how the courts are designed, especially during the Finals.
They are also particular about other things, such as jerseys, All-Star Games, announcers, and more.
The league tries to listen to fans, but they don’t always follow their commands.
However, Silver made it clear that he also likes this older look, so it may be coming back in the future.
What other suggestions will the NBA consider in order to make fans happier?
