How to make money fast

Crafting equipment is the backbone of Dune Awakening’s gameplay. You farm materials and schematics to craft items and weapons, which helps you progress toward even better gear to survive in Arrakis. Apart from the materials, you get the universal in-game currency called Solari.

This is mainly used to purchase things from NPC vendors or trade with other players. However, acquiring Solari is a time-consuming process. In this article, we explore ways to help you speed up Solari farming.

Solari is usually found inside the loot containers, and the amount you can acquire goes up with difficulty tiers. These containers can be found throughout the open world, but completing an Imperial Testing Station run is one of the best methods.

Speaking of opening loot chests, another way to acquire a lot of currency is by completing contracts. Assassination contracts, in particular, pair well with an Imperial Station run.

Contracts picked up at Mysa Tarill can grant as much as 14,000 Solari for a single contract. However, they can be challenging, so it is recommended to have at least Iron or Steel equipment. In general, farming Solari is recommended after you reach mid-game, which is 10 to 20 hours of game time.

If you want to take a safer approach towards earning Solari, engage in trading by moving goods between different outposts. There’s always something in demand, so acquire it at a low cost from one place and sell it for a profit in another.

Saving up as much currency as possible is always a good idea, but the early game can be a bit frustrating, as there aren’t many methods. As mentioned, looting chests is the only option if you are just starting off.

However, we can help make it more efficient. The best place to acquire Solari during the early game is the Broken Stone outpost in the starting area. It is at the extreme bottom and features three more enemy outposts.

There are multiple big loot chests in the area. Each outpost is close, allowing you to move from one place to another very quickly. Since you won’t have a vehicle this early in the game, clearing all four outposts can take 40 to 50 minutes.

This clear time works well as the outposts currently reset in the same duration, allowing you to farm them indefinitely. Each rotation can net you around 2,000 gold, which is very good in the early game. Don’t forget to stash your loot after each run, as an accidental death can result in loss of everything.
