The Green Bay Packers recently parted with one of their best players.
They failed to find a trade for cornerback Jaire Alexander, and when he didn’t agree to a restructured contract, they released him to get his big salary off their books.
However, even though no team traded for him, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a big market now that he’s a free agent.
With that in mind, betting odds show the San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders as the favorites to sign Alexander, each at +400, via The 33rd Team.

The Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles are next, with the Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots and Detroit Lions as other potential destinations.
When healthy, Alexander has been one of the best shutdown defenders in the game.
He’s a ballhawk with great instincts to break up passes.
Unfortunately, he has rarely been healthy lately.
He played in seven games in each of the past two seasons and just half of the possible games over the past four years.
The Packers got used to playing and winning without him, which is why they decided there was no point in paying him a hefty salary.
Now, it shouldn’t be long before he finds a new NFL home.
