ONErpm inks global partnership with Australian indie label, BIORDI

ONErpm has entered into a strategic partnership with Sydney-headquartered BIORDI, which it describes as one of Australia’s “most influential independent labels”.

Founded in 2019 by Australian entrepreneur Lowkee, BIORDI has emerged as a prominent player in the country’s Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, and EDM scenes.

The Biordi roster includes acts like Youngn Lipz, Billymaree, Bally Boy, Pistol Pete & Enzo, Ay Huncho, Masi Rooc and Nasa Nova.

The label has racked up over 300 million streams and, according to ONErpm, has solidified its reputation “as a driving force in contemporary Australian music”.

According to ONErpm, the partnership represents “a significant step forward for both teams”  bringing together what it describes as “BIORDI’s culture-driven ethos” with ONErpm’s global footprint.

ONErpm operates worldwide in 43 locations with a global workforce of 600 employees.

The company offers label services to artists and also operates what it claims to be one of the world’s largest music distribution platforms and YouTube Multi-Channel Networks.

It offers a range of partnerships to artists, from low-margin DIY distribution all the way up to higher-margin full-service deals.

The company’s services range from marketing support, to supply chain tools, SAAS, business intelligence, publishing, accounting, global payment solutions, and more.

Rick Butterworth, ONErpm’s Director of Business Development for AUNZ & Southeast Asia will lead the partnership and will report to ONErpm’s CEO/Founder Emmanuel Zunz.

“We are proud to announce our strategic partnership with BIORDI” said Butterworth.

“It’s an alliance built on a shared vision for empowering artists and redefining the future of music. BIORDI’s reputation for creative excellence and forward-thinking innovation makes them an ideal partner as we continue to grow our global presence.”

“This partnership represents more than a business move. It’s a commitment to nurturing talent, expanding opportunities, and driving impactful artist-driven results.”

Joining the Music Business Worldwide podcast last summer ONErpm’s Emmanuel Zunz explained that his ambition is to become the fifth-largest record company in the world while maintaining a profitable, sustainable business controlled by its founder.

Zunz has continued to fully own the business since its founding in 2010. The company is understood to turn over a substantial nine-figure sum each year.
