The Detroit Lions have one of the most talented and explosive offenses in the game.
However, even they tip their hats to Brian Flores.
The Minnesota Vikings’ defensive coordinator has earned respect for his trickery, deception and complex schemes.
Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown recently praised Flores for his play-calling.
“In games, he runs the craziest defenses I’ve ever seen in my life,” Brown said on his podcast, via VikingzFanPage.

Flores’ tenure as head coach of the Miami Dolphins had some significant ups and downs, and he reportedly had multiple run-ins with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but he’s paid his dues.
He’s clearly overqualified to be an assistant coach.
Of course, the Vikings will gladly keep him around for as long as possible.
Flores’s ongoing legal situation with the NFL also makes it almost impossible for any team to give him legitimate consideration for a head coaching position right now.
The Vikings wreak havoc with their blitz packages and active linebackers, and they always keep opposing quarterbacks guessing.
Now that they will have a first-year quarterback, it seems like they will have to rely on their defense more than ever.
