Naomi gains surprising ally ahead of WWE SmackDown

Naomi seemingly gained a surprising WWE ally ahead of tonight’s edition of SmackDown. The veteran was in action this past Saturday night at WWE Money in the Bank.

Tonight’s show will be the first episode of SmackDown following Money in the Bank 2025. Naomi recently showed support for Bayley following her return on this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. The Role Model returned to attack Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, and The Glow shared an interesting reaction.

“You beat that MAN a** hahahahhahah⚠️,” she wrote.

The 37-year-old defeated Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, and Rhea Ripley in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the PLE this past Saturday night. She can cash in for a WWE title shot at a time and place of her choosing within the next calendar year.

WWE RAW star reveals Naomi is an inspiration to her

Natalya recently discussed Naomi’s success and shared that she viewed the SmackDown star as an inspiration.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, Natalya claimed that the popular star inspired her because Triple H still views her as an important character this far into her career. Natalya also suggested that her time in the spotlight would be coming soon during the conversation.

“Naomi is so inspiring to me because it’s proof that Triple H is willing to invest in a talent that has been around for a long time. She, you know she has talked about how she has been waiting 15 years for this chance, to have this match. You know, like, well over a decade to have this moment. She started a couple of years after me. And so the fact that she is this deep into her career and Triple H sees so much value in her ability in the ring and her ability to tell stories, it is giving me so much inspiration and so much faith that you know, my time will come too.” [2:49 onwards]
