Tyler Herro has become one of the most important members of the Miami Heat over the years, and he has shown he has a great basketball mind.
During a recent moment in a live stream, he talked about that.
In a clip shared by Legion Hoops, Herro talked about how he plays the NBA 2K games as a way to study and learn more about other teams.
He used the Detroit Pistons as an example, saying that after playing them in real life, he will control them in a 2K game because he understands them better.
“I see the vision while we’re playing them,” Herro said.

Herro put up an average of 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists during the 2024-25 season.
Just a few years ago, he was a reliable and consistent bench player, but one who was often mentioned in trade rumors.
Now, he’s a starter for every game.
The Heat have been through some ups and downs lately, especially with the Jimmy Butler drama and trade.
Through it all, Herro has shown he can be counted on and will do whatever it takes for the team.
A lot of people wonder what’s next for Herro, specifically if the Heat go through changes.
If the team makes a big trade during the summer, will Herro still have such a place in the lineup?
Most people feel that he has earned his spot on the roster, and that isn’t going to change.
This clip proves that Herro knows basketball inside and out, and nothing matters more to him.
That is very good news for Heat fans hopeful for an exciting 2025-26.
