Falcons Rookie’s Custom Chain Is Going Viral

The Atlanta Falcons may have only made five picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, but they made the most of it and went all in on improving the defense, using a pair of first-round picks on edge rushers out of the SEC in Jalon Walker out of Georgia and James Pearce Jr. out of Tennessee.

Atlanta then used its next two picks on defense as well, but it’s an undrafted member of said defense who went viral this week for something that has nothing to do with football.

Undrafted defensive back Cobee Bryant signed a three-year deal with the Falcons for $3 million after going undrafted out of Kansas.

A recent video on X featured him showing off a new chain that cost over $100,000 and features a large pendant comprised of half of his face and the other half of a hawk.

Considering that about half of his total $3 million in earnings will go to taxes, spending six figures on a chain is certainly a decision.

Nevertheless, it shows that he has confidence in himself and his earning ability, and it will be interesting to see if he can carve out a consistent role for himself on this defense to get to a second contract.

Bryant had a strong four-year career at Kansas, collecting 13 interceptions and 22 pass deflections.

Even though Atlanta’s defense wasn’t great last season, there is solid depth at cornerback in place with A.J. Terrell, Dee Alford, and Mike Hughes penciled in as starters.

Bryant has his work cut out for him, but having to pay for this chain should be all the motivation he needs.
