5-star ATH Brandon Arrington Jr.’s latest 4-word message hints at major development following Alabama visit

Five-star ATH Brandon Arrington Jr. shared a four-word post on X suggesting an imminent big move is underway in his recruitment. The widely in-demand prospect was in Tuscaloosa for an official visit over the weekend.

Following the visit, he wrote on X on Monday:

“Big news coming soon ⏰”

Arrington’s visit to Alabama is appearing to have left the prospect with a positive impression. He gave feedback via an interview with On3’s Chad Simmons, where he said it will be “hard not to pick” the Crimson Tide.

The Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, California) ATH has visited Penn State, Washington and Oregon on official visits. Following his trip to Tuscaloosa, he is scheduled for an official visit to his hometown school, USC, on Jun. 17 before heading to Texas A&M on Jun. 20.

With his commitment set for Jul. 5, the Texas A&M Aggies remain the leaders in his recruitment, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

In a previous chat with Simmons, he said:

“It is going to be a foot race to the end. All five (schools) are up there now. Who recruits me the hardest, who gets me on the field early and who I believe can develop me the best will get me.”

The No. 10 overall prospect in the 2026 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking, Brandon Arrington Jr. is a star on the track as well. Arrington is also a versatile player on the gridiron, with a skill set fit for both offense and defense. His biggest asset, as he has identified, is his incredible speed. He told On3:

“I feel like my track times benefit me for getting these big offers because colleges love speed.”

Brandon Arrington Jr.’s linkup with Ryan Williams

One of the highlights of Brandon Arrington Jr.’s visit to Alabama over the weekend was his linkup with the Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams.

Williams represents the level of quality a freshman at Alabama must aspire to. The wideout was named a freshman All-American in 2024.

Arrington shared a video of him and Williams in the Alabama locker room on his Instagram story during his visit to the Tide last weekend.

The five-star prospect’s versatility means he could be potentially deployed in any position at college. However, the ultimate decision will come down to which school lands him.
