The Arizona Cardinals took one of the most hyped and promising prospects in recent years in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Marvin Harrison Jr. came with an unmatched pedigree, the son of a legendary wide receiver, and dominated in college like few other players.
His physical traits were mesmerizing, and though he didn’t always look the part as a rookie, he was by far the most enticing prospect from a stacked wide receiver class.
That’s why, now that he’s about to enter his second year in the NFL, Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort raved about Harrison’s determination to improve.
“I don’t know if there was a day this offseason that he wasn’t in our building, training and getting better, and it’s shown in his body. … He’s well on his way,” Ossenfort said, via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Harrison and quarterback Kyler Murray didn’t always seem to be on the same page last season.
Fans demanded that the team get the rookie more involved in the passing game, but Murray was unbothered when asked about that.
Harrison looks much bigger and bulked up, and while that might not necessarily translate to better numbers, the Cardinals will be under a lot of pressure to use their superstar prospect properly.
There’s no reason he shouldn’t be getting double digits in targets.
He’s doing his part by hitting the gym and studying film.
Now, it’s up to the coaching staff to put him in a position to succeed and showcase his skills.
