Stats Show How Disappointing Tyrese Haliburton Was In Game 5

Monday night was not great for Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers.

When his team needed him most, Haliburton didn’t deliver, and now he is just a single loss away from the end of the season.

According to BucksRealm on X, Haliburton became the first player in NBA history to record a Finals game with zero made field goals, zero steals, zero blocks, 3+ turnovers, and 3+ fouls in 30 minutes.

“By many metrics, the single worst NBA Finals performance of all time,” BucksRealm reported.

Haliburton ended the night with four points (because of his four free throws), seven rebounds, six assists, zero steals, zero blocks, and three turnovers.

He was simply not a problem for the Oklahoma City Thunder at all.

Again and again throughout the playoffs, teams have learned to fear Haliburton, especially at clutch time.

That wasn’t the case on Monday, partly because the Pacers never even made things close enough to be clutch.

The Thunder won for reasons beyond just Haliburton’s bad night.

The Pacers have some problems they need to fix on Thursday night, and Haliburton’s trouble is just one of them.

He was nursing an injury all night and knows that he didn’t do well.

So now it is up to him to figure out what he can do to right the wrongs and get back on track for Game 6.

Everything is now on the line for the Pacers, and they simply cannot lose.

Haliburton has to remind the world why he’s so special and why he really is a superstar.

If he has another bad game, he will have to contend with critics calling him “overrated” again.
