Suns Reportedly Have ‘Zero Interest’ In 1 Rockets Player Amid Trade Talks

The Houston Rockets are willing to offer the Phoenix Suns a lot in order to get Kevin Durant, but will it be enough?

According to a new report from John Gambadoro, via Evan Sidery, the Rockets are putting up an offer that the Suns don’t want.

The Suns reportedly have “zero interest” in Jalen Green, so if Houston wants to include him in the deal, they will need to have a third team that will take on his contract.

Green averaged 21.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists during the 2024-25 season and played in all 82 games.

However, his output during the Rockets’ short run in the playoffs was concerning, and he put up just 13.3 points per game.

There have been concerns about Green, how he fits in the Rockets’ lineup, and what his ceiling is.

Those concerns are probably having an impact on the Suns and making them want to sit out of any talks related to him.

So, what can the Rockets do?

They can either give up on the Durant trade, or they can put together a three-team trade that will get Green to a different destination.

Of course, they can also offer to give the Suns more, but are they comfortable with that?

The Rockets are in a tricky position because they have so many promising players on the roster, and they don’t want to part ways with too many of them.

Durant could be a huge help to the team, but they aren’t going to cut ties with the entire future of their franchise to get him.

The Suns are saying no to Green, but that doesn’t mean talks between them and the Rockets are over.
