Doc Rivers Reacts To Trade Rumors About Giannis Antetokounmpo

The offseason hasn’t even officially started, and yet there have been countless stories about Giannis Antetokounmpo and his future with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Everyone has an opinion about what will happen to Antetokounmpo, with plenty thinking he will leave and others thinking he will stay with the Bucks.

Head coach Doc Rivers thinks the whole situation is “ridiculous,” and he talked to Bill Simmons about it.

“It’s so ridiculous, and you know it’s not true. I don’t know how many times Giannis has to say I want to win a title with the Bucks. This is the best time to win a title in the NBA, there’s no dominant team,” Rivers said, via NBA Retweet.

Antetokounmpo did indeed recently state, again, that he wants to return to the Bucks and win a title next season.

So, it seems that his loyalty is intact and his plans are clear.

Additionally, many analysts are now saying that Antetokounmpo probably will stick around in Milwaukee for next season.

Still, that hasn’t stopped hundreds of stories about Antetokounmpo and where he may play next season.

There have been proposed trade packages floating around online, although it’s not clear how realistic any of them are.

A few things can happen in the weeks ahead.

Antetokounmpo can decide that he wants to leave Milwaukee and demand a trade, setting off a huge race for him.

The Bucks, on the other hand, could also choose to trade him because they see the writing on the wall and know he will want to leave within the next few seasons.

Or, both sides can agree to keep working together.

Rivers thinks that Antetokounmpo is going to stay, and he is tired of people making up myths in their minds about his star player.
