Things did not go well for the Phoenix Suns in the 2024-25 season.
They had high hopes and felt their big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal would finally work well as a unit.
Instead, they fell dreadfully short and ended the season as the 11th seed in the West.
Things were very bad both on the court and behind the scenes, according to DeMarcus Cousins.
Speaking on “Run It Back,” via NBACentral, Cousins said that the Suns had multiple fistfights in the locker room during the season.
If this is true, it gives real insight into just how rocky the road in Phoenix is.

Who fought, and what did they fight about?
No one knows the answer to that, or just how factual Cousins’ reporting is.
But if this is accurate, it proves that the Suns are beyond dysfunctional and perhaps past the point of saving.
That is why they may completely alter the team this summer.
Everyone agrees that Durant is probably leaving the team in a matter of days, and there have been questions about other players, too.
In fact, most reporting has said that everyone but Booker is safe, and the front office is willing to deal away a number of stars.
If players were fighting with each other in the locker room, it means the chemistry was shattered and the problems ran deep.
Things can turn around and get much better quickly, but it’ll likely require major adjustments to the roster and coaching staff.
Will the vibes in Phoenix be much better in 2025-26?
No one knows, but it’s hard to imagine them getting much worse.
