For the second time in as many years, the Chicago Bears enter the season with sky-high expectations.
They added Caleb Williams last season, but unfortunately, Matt Eberflus and his coaching staff may not have been the best choice to help with his development.
To add insult to injury, he had one of the worst offensive lines in the game, and he struggled behind shaky protection all year long.
Williams and the Bears only won five games last season.
However, one of those games was against their lifelong rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
That’s why the second-year pro might feel like he holds some sort of bragging rights over his divisional rivals, and he made sure to share what he really thought of Packers fans (via Ryan Garcia):
“They suck,” Williams said of Packers fans.

Of course, that’s music to Bears fans’ ears, but he will now have to back up the trash talk on the field.
Williams completed 62.5% of his passes as a rookie.
He finished his first season as a pro with 3,541 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and six interceptions, adding 81 rushes for 489 yards.
The Bears hired former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to be their new head coach, and they also went to great lengths to bolster their subpar offensive line.
He showed flashes of strong play in his first season, and he has the talent to be one of the best quarterbacks in the game if he improves his decision-making.
But now, he will be under even more pressure to deliver against his team’s most hated rival, as the internet will never forget these words.
