Casey Thomas appointed Vice President of Marketing at Lost Highway

Relaunched Nashville-based record label Lost Highway has made two key appointments.

Casey Thomas is appointed Vice President of Marketing, as Vincent Masino is named Manager, Audience Development and Content Strategy at the label.

Thomas joins Lost Highway after a nearly seven-year tenure at Monument Records where she served as Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Partnerships.

Previously, she worked in the development department of the Country Music Hall of Fame. She has a master’s degree from Boston College.

Robert Knotts, Co-Head of Lost Highway, welcomed the appointment: “Casey has built a reputation in Nashville as an innovative music marketer with a deep understanding of artistic vision and how to effectively bring that vision to life.”

Masino joins Lost Highway from Universal Music Group’s Nashville headquarters where he was the digital content specialist for the past two years.

Robert Knotts commented on Masino’s appointment: “Vinny has a unique skillset in connecting an artist’s vision with a receptive audience across an ever-changing digital landscape.

“Together they will play an integral role in serving Lost Highway’s longstanding vision as a springboard for music’s most important and culture defining artists.”

Both Thomas and Masino will be based in Lost Highway’s Nashville offices.

Lost Highway was originally founded in 2000 by Luke Lewis, and was home to country acts like Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Ryan Bingham, Hayes Carll, Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers, Lyle Lovett, Tift Merritt, Robert Earl Keen, Shelby Lynne, Elvis Costello, and Mary Gauthier.

The label folded into Mercury Nashville when Lewis retired in 2012.

In April 2025, Lost Highway was relaunched by Universal Music Group‘s Interscope Geffen A&M (IGA).

Robert Knotts and Jake Gear were appointed Executive Vice Presidents and Co-Heads, and tasked with “lead[ing] the label into a new chapter.”

In the same month, Kacey Musgraves signed to the revived record label — 14 years after she first signed with the original label.Music Business Worldwide
