Grand slam champions Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu have tennis fans watching both on and off the court.
Ahead of their mixed doubles debut together, the pair created a buzz at the recent Queen’s Club Championships in London.
British tabloid newspaper The Sun has reported that the 2021 US Open champion was seen cheering on Alcaraz on two occasions during the tournament, before the Spaniard clinched the grasscourt title on Sunday AEST.

The report also claimed that the pair arrived at the venue within minutes of each other on both occasions, and that Alacaraz was seen at Raducanu’s hotel.
Raducanu had been knocked out of the tournament in the quarter-finals earlier in the weekend.
This report, alongside the pair’s friendly dynamic, has fuelled speculation that Alcaraz and Raducanu could be romantically involved.
The duo are set to compete together for the mixed doubles trophy at the US Open in August as part of a star-studded line-up of teams for the new-look format.

“I was thinking that I couldn’t play better if it wasn’t with Emma. I just asked Emma if she wants to play doubles with me — I made that special request,” Alcaraz told reporters earlier this month.
He then added, with a smile: “She’s going to be the boss.

“I’ve known Emma for a really long time, and I have a really good relationship with her.
“We will try to win. But obviously it’s going to be really fun.”
When asked about their partnership, Raducanu joked about making Alcaraz wait for her answer.
“Gotta keep them on their toes,” she told media at Queens.
“I mean, of course, I had to ask my team if they wanted me to play, but for me, when he asked me, I was going to say ‘yes’. I just had to kind of go through the formality of asking my coach.”
The world No.2 Alcaraz is the favourite to take the title at Wimbledon when the competition starts on Monday, June 30, after his extraordinary come-from-behind win at Roland-Garros this month.
Despite rumours gaining traction, neither Alcaraz nor Raducanu has confirmed any romantic involvement.

When directly asked about the speculation in a recent BBC interview, Raducanu lightheartedly dismissed the talk.
“I’m glad the internet’s having fun, and we’re providing some entertainment for everyone,” she said.
Raducanu previously dated Carlo Agostinelli, but ended their relationship last June.
When asked recently about dating, Alcaraz highlighted how being a professional tennis player makes it hard to meet and maintain a romantic relationship.
Alcaraz was previously linked to Spanish celebrity Maria Gonzalez Gimenez, though a relationship was never officially confirmed.
“I am single. I am looking for someone,” Alcaraz said.
“It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.”
Both Alcaraz and Raducanu will kick off their campaigns for The Championships next week.
