Celtics Are Listening To Trade Offers For Key Player

There was a time when the Boston Celtics seemed like one of the most intensely loyal and committed teams, a squad that would never break up.

Over the last day, a lot has changed for Boston, and more adjustments could be coming.

According to Shams Charania, per Evan Sidery, the Celtics are currently listening to trade offers on Derrick White, but they are asking for a massive price.

They are also considering trades for Jaylen Brown.

“If Boston is able to get a monster haul of assets by trading Jaylen Brown and/or White, it certainly appears at least on the table,” Sidery wrote.

With an average of 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists last season, White was one of the most important players for the Celtics.

That has been the case for his last several years in Boston, and he has grown into a starting presence and a huge part of the team’s chemistry and culture.

The fact that the Celtics are even listening to offers for White right now means that they are really intent on weighing their options, no matter how drastic they may be.

The loss of Jayson Tatum has struck this team deeply, and they know they need to consider every possibility before moving forward.

But they won’t get rid of White for next to nothing, and they will demand a huge haul in exchange for him.

What other teams can offer what the Celtics are demanding?

Is this actually going to lead somewhere, or will White remain in Boston?

Every Celtics fan is closely watching the team to see what happens next.
