Everyone was shocked on Tuesday when the Milwaukee Bucks waived Damian Lillard, including Lillard’s former teammate.
NBA legend Carmelo Anthony wasted no time sharing his opinion about the team’s decision to cut Lillard, hopping on social media with his caps lock turned on.
“NO LOYALTY IN SPORTS!!! BUSINESS PER USUAL!! SMH,” Anthony commented on an Instagram post about the Bucks waiving Lillard, via Legion Hoops.

It was a surprising move that few people saw coming, but for the Bucks, it was all about business.
They had high hopes for Lillard when he came to Milwaukee a couple of seasons ago.
He was supposed to work perfectly alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and lead the team to another championship.
Instead, the squad had to battle against a strengthening Eastern Conference and a slew of bad injuries.
On top of that, they had coaching problems that only made matters worse.
The team never really got off the ground, and it was clear that something had to change this summer.
Still, very few people thought the Bucks would lose Lillard, and practically no one thought he’d be waived.
This shows just how much they wanted to get rid of him and move on to their next chapter.
It does show a lack of loyalty, as Anthony noted, but this is sometimes how it happens in the NBA.
Lillard should be able to find a new home in the league soon, and he could bounce back in a huge way.
As for the Bucks, some people will never forget or forgive them for what they did to Lillard.
It may be some time before Anthony and many fans root for the Bucks like they used to.
