During his 19 years in the NBA, Paul Pierce achieved a lot and earned himself millions of fans.
He believes he accomplished things that no one else did and thinks he deserves more credit than he is getting.
Appearing on “Speak,” Pierce said that he should be in the conversation for best scorer in league history.
“I was probably the best pure scorer ever in the history of the game because I was pretty equipped when I think about it. I need to be in this conversation,” Pierce said, via NBACentral.

Pierce was talking about this subject because LeBron James recently said that Kevin Durant is the “most equipped” scorer in the history of the NBA.
Pierce admires Durant and likes what he has done, but he still thinks that he brings something to the table that no one else does.
Regardless of what people think about Pierce, he obviously did so much when he was in the league.
He was a 10-time All-Star, a champion in 2008, Finals MVP, and is now a Hall of Famer and member of the NBA 75th Anniversary team.
During his 19 seasons, he averaged 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 44.5 percent from the field.
Pierce was definitely known as a great scorer and sometimes posted unbelievable shots that looked nearly impossible to pull off.
He was definitely someone who opposing teams feared, and for good reason.
He may not be in this conversation often, but Pierce thinks he should be.
Perhaps now more people will talk about him when they discuss the best scorers of all time.
