For the second year in a row, Shane van Gisbergen will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to the green flag on the streets of Chicago.
The defending winner of The Loop 110 won the pole for Saturday’s race with a lap of 90.085 seconds. Van Gisbergen was also fastest in Saturday’s Xfinity Series practice session.
Austin Hill, Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed and Jack Perkins rounded out the top five, with defending Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier, William Sawalich, Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love and Sammy Smith completing the top 10.
Other notable qualifying efforts include Preston Pardus in 12th, Carson Kvapil in 13th, Harrison Burton in 15th, Josh Bilicki in 25th and Jeb Burton in 27th.
Kris Wright and Sage Karam both failed to qualify for the race. Karam’s No. 53 had mechanical issues in practice. Meanwhile, Wright — who is the full-time driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports — will miss a race for the first time in 2025.
Connor Zilisch, Christian Eckes, Taylor Gray and Ryan Sieg did not make a qualifying attempt after issues in practice.
The Loop 110 will go green shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Van Gisbergen is the defending winner.
