The Toronto Raptors are keeping their No. 1 three-point shooter from last season in the fold.
The team has picked up Jamison Battle‘s 2025-26 team option, Sportsnet’s Michael Grange reported Thursday.
Battle is set to earn $1.96 million for the upcoming season and has a $2.3 million league-minimum non-guarantee for 2026-27. His contract was already partially guaranteed at $977,689.
The 24-year-old wing averaged 7.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 59 games after earning a two-way spot on the Raptors roster in camp as an undrafted free agent signing.
Battle initially signed with Toronto on an exhibit 10 contract, a deal that gives players a bonus for playing with an organization’s G League affiliate if they do not make the opening day roster.
A five-year college player, Battle led the Raptors in three-point shooting at 40.5 per cent, also finishing second among all rookies. His strong performance eventually earned him a standard NBA contract when a roster spot opened up after the trade deadline with his two-way eligibility running out.
Toronto currently has a logjam on the wing, with Battle, Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter and Ochai Agbaji all set to compete for minutes.
