For the second time in as many years, the Chicago Bears enter this season as one of the most hyped teams in the league, and rightfully so.
However, while most of that has to do with their offense, Tyrique Stevenson believes the defense will be even more crucial to the team’s success.
As reported by Just Another Year Chicago, the talented defensive back just claimed that they want to have the best defense in the entire game:
“This defense wants to be the best defense this year. We add some pieces in, some dogs. It’s time to hunt,” Stevenson said of the Bears’ defense.

The Matt Eberflus era was a dark one in the Windy City, but as much as they struggled on offense, their defense showed big signs of promise, and they feature plenty of proven talent there.
Now, with Ben Johnson in town, everybody expects and hopes that the offense will finally be able to catch up with them.
They brought in the most sought-after head coaching candidate to develop Caleb Williams, and given the plethora of weapons they will give him and the improved offensive line, this team could be a legitimate dark horse to come out of the NFC North this season.
The Bears have never had an elite quarterback in franchise history, and they’ve always had to rely on their defense to lead the way.
This defense might not be as dominant as the one they deployed in 1985, but they’re definitely better than most people give them credit for.
For the first time in years, it’s an exciting time to be a Chicago Bears fan.
Hopefully, they will finally live up to the hype.
