Just a few weeks ago, there were whispers of the Utah Jazz possibly trading Lauri Markkanen, but now those whispers have been silenced.
According to Tim MacMahon, via Evan Sidery, the Jazz have “zero interest” in trading Markkanen.
“Although Utah projects to be the worst team next season, they hope Markkanen remains a long-term fixture,” Sidery said.
He added that it would take a “massive offer” for the Jazz to even listen to a potential trade for their young star.

Last season, Markkanen posted an average of 19.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 42.3 percent from the field.
He has been a mainstay in Utah for the last three seasons, and the Jazz have repeatedly said they envision a bright future with him leading the franchise.
But things seemed to be different this summer, and some analysts thought the time had finally come for the Jazz to move Markkanen.
Apparently, that wasn’t the case, and they are once again holding tight to him
Markkanen is a great and promising star, but the Jazz will probably still be one of the worst teams in the West next season.
Even though they will keep Markkanen, they might make more changes in the summer and could try to build a better roster around him.
A number of teams, such as the Golden State Warriors, really wanted Markkanen, but they will have to get by without him.
Will rumors about him pop up again before the trade deadline or next summer?
