The Atlanta Falcons will try to get back to the top of the NFC South.
They will also try to look good while they do that.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Falcons will bring back their throwback red helmets for three games this season.
They will use them in their Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Ironically, even though they will bring back an old look, this is the beginning of a new era for Atlanta.
Michael Penix Jr. will take the field as the starting quarterback from Week 1.
He looked solid in limited action as a rookie, taking the reins from struggling Kirk Cousins.
Unfortunately, it was too late, and the Falcons fell just short of the playoffs in their first year with head coach Raheem Morris.
Penix entered the league as one of the most polarizing quarterback prospects in recent years.
His college numbers were astonishing, but he was older than the average rookie, and he had a worrisome history of multiple injuries.
On top of that, the fact that the Falcons took him at No. 8 overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, just weeks after giving Cousins a huge contract, raised even more questions.
Then again, Penix’s talent has never been doubted, and with a stacked set of young weapons, he’ll now get to prove his critics wrong.
