MANILA, Philippines—Almond Vosotros’ big game for TNT was buried under the rubble of a San Miguel Beer rampage in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
The Beermen spoiled what was arguably Vosotros’ best performance of the Finals so far with a 108-88 beatdown of the grand slam-seeking Tropang 5G.

Still, that didn’t stop the sharpshooting guard from staying true to his mantra in the star-studded team–staying ready for whatever situation.
“I know that I have to be ready every game because I know that coach Chot [Reyes] will call me anytime he needs me,” said Vosotros on Friday night at Araneta Coliseum.
“My confidence has always been here but unfortunately, we fell short earlier. We ran out of gas.”

When TNT couldn’t squeeze out points from its usual backcourt weapons like Roger Pogoy and Jordan Heading, Reyes turned to Vosotros, who took the opportunity and ran with it.
The La Salle product played just 13 minutes but came away with 14 points built on four bombs from three-point range.
Unfortunately, his points came just a tad too late as the Beermen cruised to a 2-1 series lead.
Vosotros can still tick a box off his to-do list, though, and that’s fulfilling the role entrusted to him by Reyes and the TNT coaching staff.
“For me, I know my role in this team. If you can remember what coach Chot said after my first game against NorthPort, he said the reason why he took me back here was because I still have that confidence.”
“He knows [me]. I just need to stay ready every game.”
Vosotros hopes to do even more for TNT on Sunday when Game 4 rolls around at Mall of Asia Arena.
