The debate over the greatest NBA player of all time is one that can be dialed up at any time during the sports calendar and get fans going.
Everyone in the sports world is expected to have an opinion on this topic, including boxing legend Mike Tyson, who recently stopped by Shaquille O’Neal’s podcast to share his take.
During an episode of “The Big Podcast,” Tyson told O’Neal that he believes Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time.
“I’m a Jordan guy,” Tyson said.

Tyson didn’t elaborate, and he doesn’t have to, as Jordan is the most common response when people are asked this question.
LeBron James’ ascendance over the past two decades has made this a more hotly contested debate that spans generations, as younger fans are often on James’ side while older fans typically lean toward Jordan.
Each side has a strong argument, as Jordan supporters point to his flawless record in the NBA Finals, while James’ believers rely on his all-around greatness, which includes unprecedented longevity and the all-time scoring record.
This is something people won’t ever agree on, as neither side will be able to convince the other.
The reality is that there is no wrong answer, as greatness is somewhat subjective, and basketball is impossible to truly compare across generations.
So, whether you think Jordan or James is the GOAT, no one should feel abjectly wrong.
Fans are entitled to their opinions, as this debate likely will continue forever.
