The Boston Red Sox have struggled out of the gate since the All-Star break. After closing the first half on a 10-game winning streak, the Sox have dropped four of five and look to avoid a sweep by the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.

Lucas Giolito has regained his form of late, posting six or more strikeouts in four of his last six starts. He hasn’t finished with fewer than five strikeouts in a game since June 10 against Tampa Bay.

Opposing starting pitchers have gone over their strikeout prop in eight of the last nine games against the Phillies.

Giolito has struck out Kyle Schwarber nine times in 13 at-bats. Brandon Marsh has gone down on strikes six times in 11 at-bats against the Red Sox right-hander.

Max Fried Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-125 at DraftKings)

The Yankees and Blue Jays finish off their key three-game series tonight in Toronto.

Max Fried makes his first start since the All-Star break. The left-hander has gone under his strikeout prop in each of his last three outings.

Left-handed starters facing the Blue Jays in Toronto have struck out four or fewer batters in 12 straight games. That includes Fried on July 1, when he struck out just two in a 12–5 loss.

Toronto’s core trio—Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette and George Springer—has struck out a combined two times in 31 at-bats against Fried.

J.P. Sears Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-105 at DraftKings)

The Athletics look to avoid a sweep against the Texas Rangers tonight in Arlington. Texas has taken the first two games, including Tuesday’s 6–2 win, and is now 4–1 since the All-Star break.

J.P. Sears heads to the mound for Oakland. He has struck out five and seven batters in two starts against Texas this season.

Left-handed starters facing the Rangers have gone over their strikeout prop in 18 of 24 games. Six of the last seven starters overall have posted at least five strikeouts against Texas.

Sears has enjoyed success against several of the Rangers’ top hitters, striking out Corey Seager and Marcus Semien five times each, and Adolis Garcia seven times.
