The NFL season is just around the corner, and as such, it’s prime time for rankings and predictions.
Former NFL player Chris Canty recently shared his list of the top five offenses in the league right now, via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio.
It contains the reigning Super Bowl champions in addition to several contenders and perhaps one surprise team.

At No. 5, he had the Buffalo Bills, and that’s despite all the contract questions surrounding running back James Cook and his future with the organization.
They have a promising player in wide receiver Keon Coleman and an underrated pass-catching tight end in Dalton Kincaid.
They also have the reigning NFL MVP in quarterback Josh Allen.
At No. 4, Canty has Matt LaFleur’s offense with the Green Bay Packers.
QB Jordan Love should bounce back after an up-and-down season, and he has more than enough weapons to work with.
Rookie WR Matthew Golden should be in for a big role, with Josh Jacobs wreaking havoc on the ground.
At No. 3 are the Detroit Lions.
They lost offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to a head coaching job, and QB Jared Goff didn’t look good in the playoffs, but they’re still stacked.
With tight end Sam LaPorta, wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, and running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, they have more than enough weapons.
Next, Canty put the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 2.
Despite some doubts, QB Jalen Hurts silenced the critics and led them to a Super Bowl win.
They return wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, while RB Saquon Barkley dominates behind the best offensive line in football.
At No. 1, Canty has the Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar Jackson was the most efficient passer in the game and will be an MVP candidate again.
Additionally, he will continue to have a force on the ground with RB Derrick Henry by his side.
