Kyle Kuzma is about to start his first full season playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, and he hopes things go better than they did last year.
In a new clip on his YouTube channel, Kuzma opened up about how he played in 2024-25 and how he wants to do better.
“I didn’t play how I wanted to play. This offseason, it’s just like get to the fundamentals, getting back to the basic, being able to have a healthy summer… which I’m excited to attack,” Kuzma said, per Jake Weinbach.

Last year, he split his time between the Washington Wizards and Bucks.
While playing for the Wizards, he produced 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 42.0 percent from the field.
After moving to Milwaukee, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on 45.5 percent.
Kuzma wants to do even better in the new year, and the Bucks need him to.
They will require more assistance around Giannis Antetokounmpo, and now is the time to improve.
The team obviously wants to climb higher in the standings, especially with stars like Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton sitting on the sidelines for the entire season.
On top of that, the front office wants to keep Antetokounmpo happy because they know if they have yet another disappointing season, rumors of him leaving could grow louder.
As for Kuzma, the Bucks are giving him an opportunity to look like a team leader and one of the most important players on the squad.
He wasn’t able to do much with the Wizards, mostly because that team was so bad.
But now he is playing for a squad that might actually compete at a high level, and Kuzma wants to be a part of it.
