Lamar Jackson hasn’t turned 30 years old, but he’s already one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
That’s an objective statement, and one that’s backed up by his résumé.
However, we may not have seen the best of him yet.
With that in mind, he fired a warning to all the doubters out there, letting everybody know that he’s about to take things to a whole new level (via Baltimore Ravens):
“I’m only 28. I’m really just getting started for real,” Jackson said.

Jackson is the greatest scrambling quarterback we’ve ever seen.
He’s also taken big steps as a passer, becoming a solid presence in the pocket and improving at all levels of the field.
That’s also why the fans have called him out and questioned him so many times for his postseason shortcomings.
With great power, you also have to deal with great expectations, and the only reason why people think he’s choking is because they’ve seen him take care of business and crush his opposition in the regular season over and over.
Also, to be fair, he’s been in the league for so many years that it’s hard to grasp the fact that he’s just 28 years old.
He’s technically just entering his physical prime, meaning that he could still unleash another level of his game, and that should be a scary thought for the rest of the league.
The Baltimore Ravens will be one of the teams to beat in the AFC again this season, and if Jackson stays healthy, they will always have a legitimate shot to go all the way.
