For years, the Miami Dolphins‘ quarterback situation has been a subject of debate.
While the numbers with Tua Tagovailoa have been mostly solid, some believe he doesn’t have what it takes to lead the team to success.
There was even some buzz about this potentially being his final year as a starter if the team didn’t win a playoff game.
That might put some eyes on Quinn Ewers.
As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, the rookie seventh-round pick might end up being the steal of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The jury is still out on Ewers, but he’s also been quite a polarizing prospect for years now.
Not so long ago, he was in the mix to be the first quarterback off the board in his class.
But injuries and some red flags about his technique made him plummet.
He has a strong arm and plenty of talent, but he needs to clean up plenty of things in terms of footwork and mechanics.
Having him sit for a year and train with NFL trainers could be just what he needs to improve in those aspects and finally be the superstar some thought he would be when he took the reins of the Texas Longhorns’ offense.
As for the Dolphins, some believe that head coach Mike McDaniel might be on the hot seat.
And after such a disappointing season in 2024, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this team change directions at multiple positions after this season, even at quarterback.
