Kevin Durant Names His NBA SF Mt. Rushmore

Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets knows that he is one of the best players in the NBA, but he also knows he’s not alone.

Like millions of fans, he is blown away by some of the talent he sees in the league.

In a video shared by Jamal Christopher on X, Durant listed his Mt. Rushmore of small forwards.

“LeBron [James], Kawhi [Leonard], Larry Bird,” Durant said, while also including himself.

Durant has put himself in some very good company, and most people believe he belongs there.

There is no doubt that he’s one of the best forwards to ever play the game.

A lot of people consider him perhaps the greatest pure scorer of his generation, especially because the way he is able to make opportunities for himself all over the court.

Last season, he produced an average of 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 52.7 percent from the field.

Now that he has joined the Rockets, those numbers might go down a little bit, but that is actually a good thing.

The Rockets have become a very versatile and deep team, and they have a number of young stars who are looking to score.

So, Durant might spend less time shooting buckets, and more time facilitating.

That might ultimately be a very good thing for Houston.

It’s worth noting that two of the people on Durant’s Mt. Rushmore are still in the league.

The fact that three of the best forwards ever are playing basketball at the same time is a testament to just how great the NBA is right now.
