The Kansas City Chiefs need Travis Kelce to turn back the clock.

This might be his final season, and he’s embracing it with a determined approach.

As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, Kelce is sporting a buzz cut again this season, at least for training camp.

Kelce wasn’t at his best last season but managed to post decent numbers.

He finished the season with 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns.

That was his lowest touchdown reception total for a full season, and it was down for the second year in a row after hauling in 12 touchdowns in 2022.

About to turn 36 years old, he’s still one of the best tight ends in the game, but it looks like he’s inching closer to the end of his career, or at least his days as a dominant force.

Some have criticized him and questioned his commitment to the game because of his new endeavors off the field and his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

He’s also admitted that he’s thought about retirement.

Yet, he’s not the type of competitor who’s going to walk away while his team is down.

He’s a proven winner and most likely wants to ride into the sunset as a champion.

The Chiefs need their offense to get back to its dominant ways after years of less-than-impressive play, and having Kelce among the best tight ends in the league will certainly help their cause.
