Stats Reveal How Dominant Alperen Sengun Was Last Season

Over the last four years, Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets has become one of the most dominant and impressive big men in the NBA.

Everyone knows what he is capable of, which is why they go out of their way to guard him as much as possible.

According to Bradeaux on X, Sengun was doubled 749 times last year, the second-most in the entire NBA.

Only Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets was doubled more.

Other players who faced many doubles were Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, and others.

These players are targeted by their opponents beacuse they are so effective, especially when down in the paint.

Last season, Sengun averaged 19.1 points and 10.3 rebounds on 49.6 percent from the field.

He is easily one of the most crucial parts of the Rockets, and the good news for them is that he isn’t the only one doing great work for the team.

Houston has been steadily putting together a really robust, reliable, versatile, and deep team.

As great as Sengun is, he isn’t the only reason that people are so excited by the team.

At just 23 years old, he is still a young player and could continue to develop and grow.

That means he could be on the verge of going on a strong, years-long run as one of the best centers in the NBA.

People have taken notice of Sengun, and they have responded.

They know what he is capable of, and they are trying to prevent it.
