After a drawn-out process, Aaron Rodgers finally signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers and is preparing for what may be his final NFL season.
The quarterback has been particularly impressed with a fellow Steelers newcomer on the other side of the ball, as he recently compared one defender to a former Hall of Fame teammate.
“I was reminding [Jalen Ramsey] how Charles Woodson, late in his career, moved to safety. There’s truly only a few elite guys who’ve done everything that he’s done. I think he can do all of those things,” Rodgers said, via NFL Network.

Pittsburgh had more of a need at safety than it did at cornerback before acquiring Ramsey in a trade with the Miami Dolphins, which ironically sent away Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Ramsey expressed some desire to play safety in recent months, so this isn’t a baseless comparison.
It is looking like Ramsey’s versatility will be on full display for the Steelers, and he will get some snaps at safety, though he is expected to primarily remain at cornerback.
With Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay also on the team, it will be interesting to see how this all shakes out and where Ramsey fits.
Woodson is one of the most flattering comparisons anyone could make, but many believe Ramsey has the skill set to make a similar transition at this point in his career.
