The two-wheeler major reported a standalone PAT of Rs 779 crore for the quarter under review, up 35% from Rs 577 crore in the year-ago period.
Standalone revenue stood at Rs 10,081 crore in Q1FY26, marking a 20% YoY increase from Rs 8,376 crore.
Highest operating EBITDA
The company posted its highest-ever standalone operating EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) of Rs 1,263 crore in Q1FY26, marking a 32% increase from Rs 960 crore in Q1FY25. The operating EBITDA margin improved by 100 basis points to 12.5% during the quarter ended June 2025, compared to 11.5% in the same quarter last year.
Sales Performance
During the first quarter of FY26, the company registered its highest-ever quarterly sales. Overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew 17% to 12.77 lakh units in the quarter ended June 2025, compared to 10.87 lakh units in the same quarter of FY25.
- Motorcycle sales rose 21% to 6.21 lakh units, up from 5.14 lakh units in Q1FY25.
- Scooter sales for the quarter grew 19% to 4.99 lakh units, compared to 4.18 lakh units in the year-ago period.
- Three-wheeler sales increased by 46% to 0.45 lakh units, up from 0.31 lakh units in Q1FY25.
- Electric scooter sales grew 35% year-on-year to 0.70 lakh units, compared to 0.52 lakh units in the same quarter last year.
