MANILA, Philippines–Barangay Ginebra signed Isaac Go to a one-year extension despite being sidelined for the majority of the recent PBA season due to a knee injury.
The Titan Management Group, which represents Go, made the announcement on Saturday as the 6-foot-7 big man hopes to finally see action in time for the league’s 50th season.

Go played just seven games, all in the Governors’ Cup, before getting hurt in a game against Rain or Shine.
He spent the next two conferences undergoing rehab while regularly attending Ginebra games.
Ginebra acquired Go, along with Stephen Holt and the third overall pick that it used to take RJ Abarrientos from Terrafirma in July 2024.

In return, Terrafirma got Christian Standhardinger, Stanley Pringle and the 10th pick in the Rookie Draft which turned out to be Mark Nonoy.
Go’s signing came after Ginebra was reeling from the shock departure of Jamie Malonzo, who went to the B.League’s Kyoto Hannaryz.
Malonzo’s move may open the door for Go to get a crack on the Ginebra roster once he’s healthy.
