The Florida Panthers star was revealed as the cover athlete for the NHL 26 video game, EA Sports announced Monday.
Tkachuk, 27, has won the past two Stanley Cups with the Panthers, playing pivotal roles in each championship.
The American winger scored 45 points (14 goals, 31 assists) across those two playoff runs.
He returned from injury in time for Game 1 of the first round this past spring, and later revealed he had torn his adductor muscle completely off the bone while also playing through a sports hernia.
Tkachuk gained further international fame during the 4 Nations Face-Off when he played a starring role for the U.S. He memorably fought Canada’s Brandon Hagel right off the opening face-off, setting in motion three straight tilts that injected new energy into the longstanding rivalry.
EA Sports added that the full video-game reveal would take place on Wednesday.
