Since the last time Teddy Bridgewater threw a pass in the NFL’s regular season, he’s coached a high school team to a state championship and since left the job for providing “impermissible benefits,” to players on his squad. He also played three snaps in the Lions playoff loss to the Washington Commanders last season after joining Detroit after the end of the 2024-25 regular season.
But with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looking for depth behind starting quarterback Baker Mayfield, Bridgewater is back in the National Football League.
