Latest Odds Show Betting Favorites To Land Trae Young

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Atlanta Hawks have yet to offer Trae Young a contract extension, a decision that has reportedly upset the popular guard.

Once again, people are wondering if he will be leaving the Hawks.

If he does, where will Young go?

According to Bovada, per NBACentral, the Orlando Magic currently hold the best odds of landing Young, with +250.

They are followed by the Brooklyn Nets with +290, the Sacramento Kings with +375, the Phoenix Suns with +450, the Houston Rockets with +575, and the Miami Heat with +700.

The Magic have made no secret of their desire to improve their offense, hence their recent signing of Desmond Bane.

Young would absolutely improve Orlando’s shooting even more.

Last season, he averaged 24.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and led the league in assists with 11.6 per game.

He also earned his fourth All-Star appearance.

Some people are already predicting where Young will travel to, but others are urging caution.

There is still time for the Hawks to put a deal together for him, but is that the right move?

It seems that Atlanta is building a strong team around Young, even though it hasn’t found great success yet.

But perhaps they should wait a bit longer before they make any big decisions about Young.

2025-26 could be the year when everything comes together and the Hawks fly high, with Young leading them.

However, things move fast in the NBA, and there are times when rumors like this quickly become reality.

People are going to be paying close attention to Young and the Hawks until some definitive news comes out of Atlanta.
