The New Orleans Saints have had a tough time moving on from Sean Payton and Drew Brees.
Dennis Allen often left plenty to be desired until he was finally let go, and they’ve struggled to find answers at the quarterback position.
On top of that, injuries have also taken a big toll on their chances to compete at the highest level.
Even so, defensive end Cameron Jordan still has the utmost confidence in his team.
Talking on the NFL Network, the Saints defender claimed that they are a top-two team in the league when they are at full strength.
Wild: Cam Jordan believes the Saints are a Top 2 team in the NFL when healthy:
“I think we have a team that when healthy, top two.”

Granted, it’s not like he’s going to say anything different, but even so, it felt like a bit of a reach.
The Saints do have some impressive talent here and there, but they’re not the youngest team in the league by any means.
Some of their best players are aging and brittle, and they still have no clear-cut franchise quarterback.
There are some serious doubts about Derek Carr going forward, and it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see them take Jaxson Dart in the first round of the NFL Draft to kick off the Kellen Moore era in the Big Easy.
The Saints were a contending team for most of the past two decades, but it might be a while before they return to that status.
As much as Jordan loves his team and his teammates, they might not even be the second-best team in the NFC South right now.
