Under-the-radar 2025 NFL Scouting Combine attendees you need to know

The NFL Scouting Combine kicks off on Monday, with prospects participating in drills from Feb. 27-March 2.

The year’s most notable prospects will be attendance, but what about less high-profile talent?

Here are five players who might not be household names but are worth knowing before the combine begins.

Delaware running back Marcus Yarns

The home of Super Bowl XLVII champion quarterback Joe Flacco, Delaware hasn’t produced an NFL Draft pick since the Chargers selected free safety Nasir Adderley in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Since the AFL/NFL merger, 15 Delaware players have been selected in the NFL Draft — and only one running back (Dan Reeder, 1985), per Stathead.

Yarns has traits that will translate to the NFL. What immediately jumps out watching his tape is his speed. On the following 75-yard touchdown, Reel Analytics clocked Yarns reaching a max speed of 21.8 mph.
