The Tennessee Titans are making moves even as draft day approaches, proving that free agency action continues regardless of where the NFL spotlight is focused.
On Wednesday, veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett surprised fans by announcing his next destination after a decade in Seattle.
The seasoned pass-catcher revealed he’s joining the Tennessee Titans, bringing his leadership and proven production to Nashville on a one-year deal worth $4 million, with incentives that could push the value to $6 million.
“I’m excited to be a Tennessee Titan!! I’m super thankful and grateful Let’s get it!! God you get all the glory!!” Lockett shared on his X account.

This move comes after Lockett’s impressive 10-year run with the Seattle Seahawks ended with his release in March.
Since being drafted in the third round in 2015, Lockett has developed into one of the NFL’s most reliable receivers, posting four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons from 2019 through 2022.
His consistency helped Seattle reach the postseason six times during his tenure.
Despite his fan-favorite status and dependable production, Lockett became part of a major Seahawks overhaul this offseason.
Seattle made sweeping changes, not only releasing Lockett but also trading quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders and sending star receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Lockett now joins a Tennessee Titans team that’s also in transition.
With recent additions like Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard already onboard, and the expected selection of top quarterback prospect Cam Ward with the first overall pick, the Titans’ offensive transformation is taking clear shape.
Lockett’s veteran presence should provide valuable stability as Tennessee builds its new-look attack.
