Raiders Have Waived 6 Players After Draft Moves

The Las Vegas Raiders have to be considered one of the early winners of the 2025 NFL Draft as they’ve maneuvered the board well to add several impact players on both sides of the field.

Offensively, the Raiders made a splash with their first pick of the draft as they took Boise State star Ashton Jeanty at No. 6.

The team wasn’t done with the offensive side of the ball, though, as they also added Jack Bech to boost their pass-catching corps while taking Caleb Rogers and Charles Grant to shore up their offensive line.

Defensively, Las Vegas drafted Darien Porter, who can slot in immediately as a starter, addressing some concerns about their secondary depth and talent.

Overall, the Raiders have done well for themselves so far and have several more picks on Day 3 to utilize.

In the wake of their draft selections, the team announced they’ve waived six players via Raiders PR.

“The #Raiders have waived the following players: – CB M.J. Devonshire – WR Ramel Keyton – DT Tyler Manoa – LB Kana’i Mauga – LB Jackson Mitchell – RB Isaiah Spiller.”

The names on the list are of little consequence to Las Vegas, which is moving forward with a new group of players under new general manager John Spytek and head coach Pete Carroll.

The Raiders are hoping that this incoming draft class can help jumpstart the franchise and get them back into playoff contention.

Carroll has a way of getting the most out of his rosters, and while his team is young, it looks far more balanced and talented on paper heading into the 2025 NFL season.
