Saturday’s MLB stars of the night: Four times the fun

Saturday’s slate of baseball was full of stellar offensive performances. It featured a four-home-run game as well as multiple walk-off winners.

All three members of Saturday’s list are making their first appearance and will almost certainly be here again at some point during this season.

Here are three stars from Saturday’s MLB action.

Eugenio Suarez, 3B, Arizona Diamondbacks

Suarez is undoubtedly the star of the night with his four home runs against the Atlanta Braves. Suarez became the 19th player all-time and first since 2017 to have four home runs in a game.

Unfortunately for Arizona, it was all for not, and they lost the game 8-7 in 10 innings.

The Diamondbacks are the first team to lose the game when one of their players hits four home runs since 1986 when the Atlanta Braves did it during Bob Horner’s four homer game.
