What is the Dolphins’ stance on a Hill trade after draft?

Tyreek Hill remained with the Miami Dolphins through the NFL Draft despite recent trade rumors, and all signs point to that trend continuing through the start of the 2025 season.

Following the completion of the draft on Saturday, Judy Battista of NFL Network reported that the Dolphins are likely to stick with Hill. Miami will continue to explore potential trades for All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, but Hill is not on the block at this time.

Hill openly vented his frustrations following the 2024 season and indicated he wanted out of Miami. He later apologized and said he wants to remain with the team, but he has fueled speculation once again in recent weeks with his cryptic social media activity.

Even as the rumors ramped back up, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said earlier this month that the team would only consider trading Hill if a massive — and likely unrealistic — offer came along.

Though he remains an explosive playmaker, Hill is 31 and coming off a season in which he played through an injury. He still had 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns, but that was a huge step back from the 1,700-plus yards he had in each of his first two seasons in Miami.

There has also been some recent off-field drama involving Hill, which probably had a negative impact on his trade value.

While they could explore trading Hill at a later date, the Dolphins probably would have moved the eight-time Pro Bowl wideout prior to the draft if they wanted to part ways with him.
