After the Super Bowl, NFL fans are without any on-field action for several months until the next season starts.
The NFL has a long gap between the end of one season and the start of another, which can leave its supporters wanting more.
If fans want something in the offseason, there is a way for them to catch some football games, as the UFL’s season goes from March 28th to June 14th.
The UFL isn’t necessarily a competitor to the NFL yet in terms of the caliber of players they have in the league, but it can be an opportunity for players to showcase their abilities and get another chance in the NFL.
Rodrigo Blankenship, for example, is having a great season in the UFL, kicking a perfect 16/16 on field goals, as Adam Schefter recently noted on X.

Blankenship was a fantastic kicker for the Indianapolis Colts in 2020, making 86.5% of his field goals throughout the season.
However, things went downhill for him in 2021 and 2022, but due to some injuries and performance issues, he ended up being cut by the Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He was forced to either retire or try out a league like the UFL, but considering how well he has performed to this point in the UFL, there’s no telling if an NFL team will be willing to give him another shot.
