Vince Carter Has Landed A New Media Job

The NBA is about to get much more interesting.

With NBC back in the game, they’re assembling an All-Star team to dissect the game.

According to a report by Yahoo Sports, the legendary Vince Carter will join NBC Sports as a studio analyst for the NBA.

It’s refreshing to see that both Amazon and NBC are looking to add insightful players who aren’t only well-respected and beloved by the fans, but who are also legitimate fans of the game and will try to bring a different outlook to the table.

The fans have complained about the current state of affairs, as older players somehow feel threatened or disrespected and don’t seem to enjoy the game as it is nowadays.

Carter spent over two decades in the league, and he knows the nuances and ins and outs of the game like few others.

He’s also not going to take cheap shots at anybody to protect his ego.

The league has struggled to keep up with other major sports this year.

The drop in ratings might not only be a byproduct of the seemingly less competitive and repetitive game but also because of the way it’s being covered.

Perhaps fans don’t want to watch the big markets or big players as much as they want to watch the best teams, and former players like Carter will most definitely push for that approach instead of chasing headlines, creative narratives, or firing hot takes left and right to get ratings.
