Patrick Beverley Reveals Wild Career Move For Next Year

Are we about to see the NBA return of Patrick Beverley?

Beverley has spent some time away from the league but has continued to play basketball overseas.

And now he is ready to make a comeback in the US, but will any team offer him a contract?

Speaking on his podcast, via Legion Hoops, Beverley said he is ready to be an NBA star again.

“I’m making my entrance back to the NBA next year. I miss it. I done hit a couple of GMs, a couple of coaches. I told them, ‘Just invite me to training camp.’ I don’t need no favors. I don’t need none of that. Just invite me to training camp, I’ll do the rest,” Beverley said.

Basketball fans remember Beverley and his skills and specific style of playing.

He was on multiple teams during his 12 years in the league, including the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and more.

He last played for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023-24, averaging 6.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Following his year with the Bucks, he decided to pursue a career overseas and played basketball in Israel.

But that only lasted a season, and now Beverley is attempting to make his way back into the NBA.

Because of his lengthy career, Beverley made a lot of connections with numerous players and coaches, so he certainly has many relationships throughout the league.

However, that doesn’t mean he will get a new contract.

If a team decides to sign Beverley, they can probably get him on a relatively cheap contract, so it might be worth it for a team that would value his experience and strong defensive skills.
